Randi Purvis is the office manager for University Residences, as well as the administrative assistant to Barb Frazee and the directors who report to Barb. Randi began her career at Purdue in 2012 in Residential Life as an area coordinator for Tarkington Hall. Randi holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Ball State University, in psychology and counseling, respectively. Prior to Purdue she worked as a student life counselor at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics and Humanities, a residential high school for academically-excelled students at Ball State University.
Randi is originally from Indianapolis and has also lived in Nashville, Ind., as well as in New South Wales, Australia, during her undergraduate studies. Randi loves to travel and enjoys traveling with the Office of Admissions as a University Residences representative. Her favorite places to visit are D.C. and Southern California, and she hopes to eventually traverse the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, Randi enjoys live music and weekends exploring local Lafayette/West Lafayette hot spots.
