Meredith Hall Information

Residential Life

Residential Life at Meredith Hall is the way we build community among the residents, the Purdue campus, and the Greater Lafayette area. The goal of the Residence Life staff is to help you with your success at Purdue by providing opportunities to establish connections, learn about self and surrounding communities, act as support and resource, and of course aid in the success of a common goal - education. The Residential Life Staff at Meredith Hall is composed of 12 Resident Assistants (RAs) supervised by two Staff Residents. The Residential Life Manager coordinates the Meredith Residential Life staff. Please take part in the leadership opportunities your hall has to offer whether it is through planning events, voting during surveys, or participating in community activities. We look forward to the new opportunities and community you will make possible.

The RX Club

The RX Club, the official student organization of Meredith Residence Hall, serves the Meredith community by providing students with opportunities to enhance their collegiate education through leadership development, representative government, and fun social and educational activities. The RX Club provides many social and educational opportunities throughout the year. Furthermore, the Meredith student senate serves as the "voice" of the Meredith residents various student groups and administration.

By paying dues at the beginning of the year, all Meredith residents are members of the club and able to benefit from all the services the Club provides. The officers of the RX Club (the Executive Council and Senate) develop their personal and professional leadership skills as they learn and practice personnel motivation and management, financial planning and budgeting, and program development through local, regional, and national conferences, retreats, and workshops. We encourage you to become involved in the RX Club - there is a place for everyone to serve, learn, and grow!
